Definition

  The Directorate of Student Affairs and Examinations: It is one of the central directorates at the  u university. It is concerned with the affairs of students and their university life from their first admission to the university until they graduate from their colleges and receive their university degrees for the various degrees awarded by the university

 The Directorate of Student Affairs and Examinations consists of the following departments:


Student Affairs Department, which consists of the following divisions:  A- Registration and Fees Division  B - University Life Division  C- Student Health Care Division

  Department of Examinations and Certificates (General Education), which consists of the following two divisions: A- Exam Division  B - Division of Documents and Certificates

  Open Education Certification Department
 

Tasks


Duties of the Student Affairs Department
Recording the data of students registered in each academic year (freshmen / old) received from the university faculties in the relevant records of university life
  Checking students’ subjectivities in draft graduation decisions with specialists in the examination divisions in colleges before referring them to the relevant university councils for duly endorsement.
  Recording the data of the graduation decisions received by the Directorate from the faculties in the records of graduates and records of university life.
  Verification of graduation certificates (for the bachelor’s degree 
  Recording the decisions of the competent university councils in everything related to university life for students (penalties / correcting a mistake / rewards / ..... etc.) in the records duly.
Marking the clearance for the students duly
 Carry out all that is assigned to the employees of the department in their field of work.
 - Receiving the documents related to changing the enrollment of students wishing to do so, studying them and transferring them to the competent college for the necessary action.

The tasks of the university degree departments (general / open)
 Recording all graduation decisions and everything related to them for various university degrees in special records in each department.
 Organizing and properly delivering university degrees.
 Checking certificates of postgraduate studies.
 Archiving ready-made university certificates according to the method used in each department.
 Checking and confirming the authenticity of university certificates when requested by any party and according to the rules.

Activities



1- The Directorate of Student Affairs and Examinations required of it, and within its competence, completed everything related to changing the enrollment of students wishing to do so
for the academic year 2020/2021 AD within the faculties of Tishreen University and within the periods specified for that
2- The Directorate of Student Affairs and Examinations, in cooperation with the Directorate of Administrative Development at the university, held a training course for workers in the student affairs division at the university’s faculties. The course dealt with laws and regulations related to student affairs, especially Decree 125 of 2020 and its executive instructions during the period from 6/28 to 6/30/ 2021.
