Vision
The College of Science seeks to achieve excellence and superiority in education and scientific research, and to acquire, settle and generate the latest scientific and technical knowledge and to employ it in community service in preparing cadres and specialists in various fields of mathematical, physical, chemical, geological, plant and animal life sciences and the environment. Objectives
First: Preparing specialists in various fields of mathematical, physical, chemical, geological sciences, plant and animal life sciences, environment, computer science and statistics, by qualifying students and providing them with a high level of knowledge in their field of specialization in line with the progress of science, technology and civilization Globalism.
Second: Advance scientific research and various postgraduate studies and participate in local and international conferences and symposiums, which contributes to scientific and technical progress in the various fields of basic sciences, with the aim of preparing scientific researchers and finding solutions to various problems facing scientific, economic and social development in the Syrian Arab Republic. Third: Contribute to preparing teachers for basic and secondary education in various branches of basic sciences in a good scientific way to raise the level of education in the country.
Fourth: Developing research and teaching methods and means, including university educational literature in the Arabic language, translating major scientific books, and pushing the process of Arabizing higher education forward in the various institutions of the Arab world.
