Vision & Mission
The college seeks to be a scientific - educational and qualifying entity recognized and accredited within the institutions of the Ministry of Higher Education locally and internationally. It also seeks to develop the fields of physical education and sports at the level of education and training and to achieve the vision of the university in embodying the philosophy of higher education in fulfilling the needs of the citizen and society.

The Faculty of Physical Education was opened in 1995 by a decree from the founding leader, Hafez Al-Assad, in honor of the athletes in the Syrian Arab Republic. Continuous qualification of faculty members through participation in specialized courses and participation in conferences at the local and international levels. Preparing the necessary frameworks capable of participating in the management of programs and curricula of physical and sports education at the community and state levels. Spreading a culture of quality in the field of physical education and sports in the college. Qualifying graduate students and encouraging creative thinking in the field of studies and research. Establishing scientific research bases and urging them to be adopted as a basis for updating theoretical and scientific starting points in all fields of physical, sports, official and private education. Updating programmes, curricula and plans for teaching and training in line with the needs of community development. Preparing a scientific cadre at the level The master is able to use technology and its technologies in the field of irrigation.Preparing a scientific cadre at the master’s level capable of using technology and its technologies in the sports field with the aim of developing the teaching process. Developing the college’s infrastructure and providing it with (laboratories and stadiums) according to the available capabilities and activating cooperation and partnership relations with the Ministries of Education and Higher Education and the Sports Federation in a way that contributes to the development of knowledge and skills for each of Students and faculty members.
