Vision & Mission

Vision

The Faculty of Civil Engineering at Tishreen University aspires to be among the distinguished faculties in the country and the region, to graduate engineers with distinguished competencies and competitive capabilities, to meet the needs of society in the fields of civil engineering.

The message

Providing the community with graduates with distinguished competencies in theoretical, experimental and creative sciences in the field of civil engineering, who are able to transfer their acquired knowledge in the college into application and practice successfully, and to develop the spirit of initiative, innovation and entrepreneurship among its graduates.
 

College Goals 

First: Preparing civil engineers with a general civil specialization and providing them with a high level of knowledge in the fields of basic sciences and computer technologies, deepening their knowledge in the field of applied civil engineering and modernizing it, in line with the continuous technological developments, and with the needs of the labor market in the Syrian Arab Republic and the Arab world.

Second: To promote and participate in scientific research, and the process of developing civil engineering work methods and methods, and preparing studies and technical designs that contribute to scientific and technical progress in the fields of civil engineering sciences, especially what aims to find solutions to various issues facing development and development in the Syrian Arab Republic and the Arab world.

Third: Contribute to rehabilitation courses and continuous training in the field of civil engineering in order to provide an opportunity to meet the continuous and renewed needs of the labor market, and to provide the possibility for civil engineers to adapt to these needs.

Fourth: Develop the scientific, social and cultural aspects of the student's personality, develop his national awareness and love for work in a way that raises his competitiveness in the labor market and encourages cultural, artistic, social and sports activity among students.

Fifth: Achieving the highest level of interaction and interdependence between the college and the public, joint and private sectors of society, in line with the college's tasks and objectives.

Sixth: Deepening the practice of the profession among students in a way that is commensurate with their own capabilities and the requirements of the labor market in the Syrian Arab Republic and the Arab world.

Seventh: Strengthening cultural and scientific ties with civil engineering colleges and others in Syria, and with Arab scientific engineering bodies in particular and foreign institutions in general.

Eighth: Developing the engineering education process by writing a useful university book and working on finding scientific references that will contribute to enriching scientific thought and developing cognitive and mental capabilities.

Ninth: Developing the process of Arabizing engineering education through the Arab engineering scientific book and unifying the scientific term.

The Dean 's Word

The College of Civil Engineering, since its establishment in 1971, has distinguished itself with its graduates of Syrian civil engineers who are creative and qualified in various fields of engineering work. Our graduates occupied the best positions in Arab and international construction companies and consulting offices.

The Faculty of Civil Engineering is interested in providing the student with scientific and practical tools to confront the emerging engineering issues and cases with high professionalism and professionalism.

A full team of highly qualified faculty members, assisted by a capable team of competent engineers, implements distinguished and renewable study plans, through which the latest developments in all fields of advanced and modern civil engineering sciences are taken into account.

With knowledge, we build our homeland, preserve the victory of our valiant army, and return our Syrians to keep pace with development and construction, in accordance with the words of the master of the homeland, leader Bashar Hafez al-Assad in his oath speech 2014:

"Today we are all embarking on a new stage. The most important characteristic of it is the unanimity to protect the homeland and rebuild it morally, psychologically, morally and materially, and the unanimity to eliminate terrorism."
