Contributing to the preparation of qualified graduates with high competence and competitive design ability by enhancing the cultural and aesthetic dimension related to identity, local memory, historical knowledge and the ability to understand the role of spatial and temporal specificity in architecture and urbanism, in addition to emphasizing the importance of the physiological, human and social foundations and requirements that constitute the problem of architecture and urbanism and focusing on keeping pace with developments. International architecture and dealing with new engineering technologies, in addition to stimulating scientific research related to historical and contemporary Syrian architecture in particular in the context of global architectural developments.
