The department and its members are responsible for the following tasks:
1. Teaching emergency medicine and anesthesia for the fifth year.
2. Clinical training in the Department of Operations and Intensive Care for medical students (fourth, fifth and sixth years).
3. Teaching theoretical courses and clinical training for nursing school students.
4. Giving clinical lectures to graduate students.
5. Supervising intensive care patients.
6. Carrying out the task of resuscitation in all departments of the hospital.
7. Anesthesia for various types of operations:
• Heart and chest surgery.
• General and orthopedic surgery.
Neurosurgery.
• Urinary and gynecological surgery.
Ear and eye surgery.
• Children's Surgery .
• Plastic surgery.
The department anesthetizes 600-650 operations per month on average.
