This department took place in the
academic year 1980/1981, when a modern study plan was developed that included
specialized courses in mechanical power engineering from the first to the fifth

Under this plan, engineers who
graduate from this department will be able to deal with various mechanical
power engineering systems.
Currently, 27 teachers with a doctorate degree with experience in teaching and scientific research are taught in the department, and about 38 members of the technical staff, who are interested in the practical and laboratory aspects of the courses. The first batch of the department graduated in 1985, and the number of students in the department in 2010 reached about 510 students.
