The student in this department studies all aspects related to software production through software engineering courses. In this major, the student also studies databases, database security, Internet applications, information security, and software project management. A graduate of the Software and Information Systems Department is distinguished by the ability to describe the problems at hand, identify functional and non-functional requirements, and provide software solutions to achieve them. A software graduate can also work in companies, institutions, and public entities to develop and deliver high-quality software.
