Vision:

The Department of Forestry and Environment is an independent administrative, scientific and educational unit that operates within the legal framework. The department is concerne with forestry and environmental sciences and knowledge and everything related to natural resources in terms of preparing specialized scientific frameworks and related scientific research.

the message:

The scientific and educational activity of the Department of Forestry and Environment is based on forest sciences, environmental sciences and what is related to natural resources. The department works on refining the skills of its students in terms of preparing specialized scientific frameworks for the first university stage and scientific research frameworks through graduate studies and scientific research in order to meet the needs of comprehensive development in the country.

The department, with its scientific activity, keeps pace with all new scientific knowledge in its specialization, and is open to scientific, economic and cultural issues for institutions as well as for society by contributing to solving forest and environmental problems, conserving natural resources, and participating or communicating with local, regional and international scientific institutions and events.

Objectives:

In order to achieve the department's vision and mission, we summarize the intended scientific and educational goals as follows:

1- Attention to scientific knowledge related to forest sciences and other natural resources, as well as environmental sciences and the maintenance of environmental systems.

2- Keeping abreast of global knowledge and sciences about the environment and natural resources in order to continuously improve the scientific and educational work of the department.

3- Preparing specialized scientific and research frameworks in order to secure the needs of sustainable development in the country.

4- Contribute to solving environmental and forestry issues and problems raised by relevant scientific institutions through research and various scientific activities.

5- Contribute to the social and cultural activities of the community to promote the concepts of environmental education, eco-tourism, and conservation of forests and other natural resources.

6- Continuous work on developing the department's scientific staff by participating in conferences, seminars and other scientific events.
