The thesis of the Master's Program in Marine Chemistry and Pollution is summarized in the development of knowledge in marine chemistry with the aim of creating skills for studying and evaluating pollution in the marine environment and ways of developing living resources as well as monitoring pollutants of all kinds and revealing their effects on marine life as indicators and vital indicators at the level of individuals, groups and biological communities, working on preparing specialists In the field of marine chemistry and pollution, who are able to diagnose chemical and biochemical changes, monitor forms of pollution in the marine environment, and ways to reduce its effects through developing knowledge in marine sciences, especially marine chemical systems and methods of chemical analysis, which will contribute effectively to improving the reality of development on the Syrian coast.
1- The student should have a bachelor’s degree with at least a good grade from one of the faculties of Syrian public universities or its equivalent from another college or higher institute recognized by the University Council, according to the rules set by the Council of Higher Education, and the bachelor’s degree is suitable for enrollment in a master’s degree.
2- To successfully pass an English test.
3- All students are subject to a comparison between them on the basis of the average or the principles set by the Council of Higher Education, and students are accepted according to the numbers proposed to be accepted each year in each major of each college.
