The department presidency may permit registration for a doctoral degree for students who have a master's degree in the scientific field (a university degree required for enrollment in a master's degree), provided that the master's thesis contains clear environmental implications, and that the subject of the doctoral research project falls within the research axes of the department.
To have a master's degree with at least a good rank in the required specialization from a public university in the Syrian Arab Republic or from a college or higher institute recognized by the University Council
To successfully pass an exam in a foreign language in accordance with the provisions of Paragraph /b/ of Article /146/ of the executive regulations of the Universities Organization Law.
To prepare an innovative research on a subject approved by the University Council based on the proposal of the concerned department council and the approval of the Institute Council for a period of at least two years from the date of approval of the University Council for enrollment for a doctoral degree.
To publish two research papers related to the subject of his dissertation in a specialized research journal, or to obtain the approval of the journal to publish them.
To submit the results of his research a message accepted by the judging committee and to lead a public discussion in it

Bachelor's degree in Chemical and Petroleum Engineering;
Bachelor's degree in pharmacy;
Bachelor's degree in Geology (Applied Geology).
