The University Council decided to postpone the exams for the second semester, to start on Sunday 7/9/2023, due to the coincidence of the blessed Eid Al-Adha holiday with the predetermined date on 7/2.

The President of the University, Dr. Bassam Hassan, asked the deans of faculties and institutes to prepare examination programs in a manner commensurate with the circumstances of each faculty.

The President of the University presented the results of the meetings with the Russian delegations that visit Tishreen University in the current period and the issues available for cooperation to complement a series of periodic meetings, visits and communication via the Internet that took place with delegations from the Russian region of Nizhny Novgorod during the last period, leading to the completion of cooperation agreements and the transition to their implementation in a comprehensive manner. Complete with the expansion of cooperation to include new areas agreed upon with the Russians.

During the council meeting, the reality of e-book publishing was discussed, as 868 were published

A book on the platform with the importance of monitoring students’ follow-up to publish and benefit from e-books and the feasibility of publishing them electronically by evaluating students’ interaction with the e-book or not and discussing its adoption as an alternative or supportive of the printed one
