The President of Tishreen University, Dr. Bassam Hassan, discussed with a delegation from the Iranian Al-Mustafa University, headed by the President of Al-Mustafa University, Tehran Branch, and the North African Branch, Sajjad Hashemian, ways to enhance scientific and research relations between the two universities.

University President, Dr. Bassam Hassan, confirmed that the visit lays a foundation for future cooperation with a prestigious university, pointing out the necessity of activating partnerships in research and applied sciences to a greater extent and opening new horizons, in addition to working on preparing a cooperation protocol with Al-Mustafa University.

The head of the branch of Al-Mustafa University in Tehran, Sajjad Hashemian, explained that the university has accredited branches around the world, 73 in countries, and includes 400 specializations, and specializes more broadly in arts and humanities. There are 52,000 students at the university currently. He pointed to Al-Mustafa University’s interest in strengthening the relationship with Syrian universities and increasing cooperation and exchange.
