The Director's Word
The Engineering Technical Institute is one of the technical institutes at Tishreen University, and it includes four majors after amending its study plan for the year 2021-2022:
| Specialization in general construction. |
| Area jurisdiction. |
| Architecture specialty. |
| Specialization in sanitary and water engineering. |
The institute has a teaching and administrative staff with high scientific and administrative competencies, so that the slogan of linking the university with society is achieved, and the student obtains, at the end of his studies, a technical diploma in one of the six specializations mentioned above. The graduate has high scientific and practical skills that meet the public and private labor market. The scientific skills come through the adoption of a modern study plan and the Institute’s application of the latest versions of computer programs such as Autocad, Land and Geographic Information System in addition to Office programs. Practical skills are achieved through the practical application of theoretical study in the Institute’s laboratories. (model laboratories and space laboratory) and laboratories of the College of Civil Engineering (laboratory for testing materials, laboratory for environment, laboratory for hydraulics) and field training, in addition to the scientific trips that the institute holds for students in the first and second years and the annual summer training in state institutions and departments. The first graduates are pursuing their studies in civil or architectural engineering, depending on the specialization.
