Department of Communications and Electronics Engineering

1- The Department of Communications and Electronics Engineering includes two divisions, the first is the Communications Division and the second is the Electronics Division.

2- The message of the department: The Department of Communications and Electronics Engineering at the Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at Tishreen University seeks to graduate effective engineering cadres who are scientifically and practically distinguished and characterized by the ethics of the engineering profession, and to provide a distinct and recognized educational environment with a precise specialization for undergraduate and postgraduate studies, and to work on the optimal investment of the resources and capabilities of the university With the aim of advancing the scientific research process in the field of communications and electronics engineering, encouraging research creativity and embodying partnership with the industrial sector to meet the needs of the labor market, for this department to be a tool for the development and prosperity of society.

3- Objectives of the department: The teaching plan of the department aims to:

1- Building a scientifically competent communications engineer, who is able to work efficiently in all branches of communications and is able to pursue postgraduate studies and scientific research in several fields of communications.

2- Building an electronic engineer who is scientifically empowered, capable of working efficiently in all fields that require an electronic engineer, and who is able to pursue postgraduate studies and scientific research in several electronic fields.

3- Enhancing the following basic competencies: • The ability to accurately understand the problem and reach an appropriate methodology for the solution. • Mental athletic abilities. Information capabilities. • Communication with the environment. • The ability to work in teams.

4- Developing positive behavior towards learning. 5- Self-evaluation and development, continuous monitoring and development of the study plan.
