Participation of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Tishreen University, in the ICCE International Conference held at Damascus University

The Faculty of Civil Engineering at Tishreen University participated in the International Conference ICCE held at the University of Damascus with several researches, where Dr. Eng. Fayez Jarad participated with Dr. Eng. Rana Mia and Eng. Sana Mazawi with a research entitled "A methodology to improve the efficiency of maintenance management for service buildings",Dr. Ali Khairbek participated in two researches in the field of building materials, the first research entitled: “The durability of compacted concrete in the factory and the factory using coarse recycled stones”, and the second research with Eng. Dr. Eng. Lama Saud also participated in a research entitled "Examples of Design Information Flow in a Collaborative Multidisciplinary BIM Environment",Dr. Madonna Bishara also participated in another research titled "Sustainable Technological and Economic Performance Indicators in the Development of Syrian Construction Projects". The Department of Structural Engineering participated in the conference with five papers, where Prof. Dr. Bassam Hawija and Dr. Fadwa Issa participated in a joint research with Eng. Abaq Badran entitled "Impact The shape of the distribution of lateral forces on the behavior of reinforced concrete buildings.Prof. Dr. Essam Nasser and Prof. Dr. Bassam Hawija participated in a joint research with Eng. Thara Mubarak with a research titled "Predicting the Effective Deformation of FRP Laminates Used in Strengthening Reinforced Concrete Beams Using the ANFIS Fuzzy Inference System". Prof. Dr. Bassam Hawija and Dr. Ammar Abbas also participated in a joint research with Eng. Kinan Qadoun research titled "Improving the Compliance of Reinforced Concrete Beams According to NSM-SMA Technology"Professor Suleiman Abu Diab and Professor Dr. Bassam Hawija participated with Eng. Ibrahim Hassan in a research entitled "Using the Modified Finite Element Method Transitions Model to Solve Simple Applications of Composite Slabs within the Geometric Nonlinear Domain", in addition to a research entitled "Studying the Contribution of Seismically Designed Binary Structures in the Syrian Coast to Resist Sequential Collapse" under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Bassam Hawija and Prof. Dr. Akram Suqur with Eng. Zaid Khairbek.
